Dr Turgut has 35 years of petroleum industry experience in executive positions with international oil companies, including the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO). In addition to his extensive international experience in the oil and gas industries, he also has five years of experience in the North American E&P business. He owns a BSc Degree in geological engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma and an MSc and PhD in geological sciences from North Western University in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
